Long Way Baby

The second album by Fatboy Slim, 'You've Come a Long Way, Baby', was originally released on October 19, 1998 in the United Kingdom by Skint Records, followed by its release in the United States a day later by Astralwerks. This double vinyl LP pressing proved to be Cook's breakthrough album, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart and number 34 on the US Billboard 200. Critics praised the album for its unique sound and style, which brought international fame to Cook. The success of the album earned him a Brit Award in 1999 and it was later certified four times platinum by the BPI and platinum by the RIAA. Four singles were released from the album: 'The Rockafeller Skank', 'Gangster Tripping', 'Praise You', and 'Right Here, Right Now', all of which achieved top ten positions on the UK Singles Chart. Additionally, 'Build It Up - Tear It Down' was released as a promotional single. Now, the album has been remastered at half speed to ensure the best possible audio quality.
