From the brand Fatboy, the journey began by merging music and hair care. Tyson Kennedy, the lead singer of Steriogram and Founder of Fatboy, set out to create exceptional hair products for tour performances. Through experimenting with styling putty on his stove, Fatboy and Perfect Putty were born. In NYC, Tyson refined his "Perfect Putty" formula, gaining popularity among stylists and customers, before boldly launching Fatboy as his new venture. From the manufacturer, Fatboy co-founders Tyson Kennedy and Tim Youngson, also members of Steriogram, an international touring band. Their hit single, “Walkie Talkie Man,” was famously featured in an iPod commercial. Tyson, who started styling hair at 15, created his first hair care product out of necessity for Steriogram's high-energy concerts.
